I love cozy mysteries, but will read anything with a good plot.

Very Quick and Sweet Read

Friends--And Then Some (Debbie Macomber Classics) - Debbie Macomber

I loved this story.  It gave me a comfortable, down home feeling.  I instantly fell in love with the characters.  By the third chapter, they felt like my friends.  I really enjoyed the interaction and the set up of the plot.  This is a typical Debbie Macomber book, which makes you feel good at the end.  I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick, interesting, feel good book.

A Page Turner

Defending Jacob - William Landay

This was one of the best books I have read in a long time.  It is a definite page turner.  There are more twist and turns in this book than there are in a long winding road.  William Landay knows how to tell a story and keep you on the edge of your seat.  This is a definite must read.  Warning: Do not start this book if you do not have time to read it form cover to cover.  I stayed up late at night because I could not put it down.  Consequently, I was groggy at work for about two days.  But, that is the price i would pay for a good read.

Loved It!

That Wintry Feeling - Debbie Macomber

If you have ever read Debbie Macomber, this is her typical style of writing.  You will fall in love with the characters, right from the beginning.  It is a love story with some creative scenarios.  I could not put this book down.

If you are not already a Macomber fan, this book will make you one.

Claudine's New Adventure

Claudine's New Adventure - Nicole Murphy

This was a very short (87 pages) story that really would raise a person's self-esteem.  Nicole Murphy tackles the subject of big woman being beautiful and loving yourself for who you are.  It is a must reads for all young ladies.
